Overview

NYPL.org provides applications and several processes for New Yorkers and non-New Yorkers to apply for a New York Public Library Card. Cards are free for anyone who lives, works, attends school, or pays property tax in New York State. Out-of-state visitors can apply for a temporary card.

Opportunity

The New York Public Library currently has a process in place for both New Yorkers and non-New Yorkers to receive a library card. There is no quick and easy way to receive a digital library card for use right away.

Goals

To provide users with a solution that would allow them to apply for a digital library card.

Approach + Deliverables

This project was conceptualized and undertaken as practice although it is following some UX design processes this project is not forecasted to ship or become a real product.
